Berber pouf 'Colorful Story'
Make your interior unique with this beautiful Moroccan pouf, custom designed by El Ramla Hamra. This pouf is made of a beautiful vintage boucherouite rug.
The Boucherouite rugs (say ''bou sje reed'') are made in the 70s and early 80s by Moroccan Berber women, for domestic use. Because wool became rarer in Morocco, they started to use recycled synthetic materials such as scraps of cotton, nylon, lurex and occasionally wool. They worked intuitively so every rug is a signature of the woman who made the piece. Each Boucherouite rug will have a different pattern. No two are ever alike.
Styling with Moroccan Floor Cushions
These Moroccan poufs are perfect for lounging on and give your interior a unique and elegant touch. The beautiful shades of these poufs can be beautifully combined.
Do you like peace and quiet? Then opt for beautiful soft tones. A tone-on-tone setting in combination with cushions in the same color palette gives the room a zen feeling.
Do you want more of a bohemian atmosphere? Opt for the colorful poufs and dare to mix and match. Brighter colors can balance just as well as the softer shades. Create a touch of Marrakech in your own space.
